Mr. Ahmed Al Yammahi began his professional career as an engineer at the UAE Ministry of Public Works where he gained valuable knowledge and experience in the Roads Department.

Upon completion of 9 years with the UAE Ministry of Public Works, Mr. Ahmed joined Roads and Transport Authority as a Director of Road and Head of Road Design Section where he managed the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of road networks and setting up the traffic alongside the preparation of policies, legislations, and technical standards to ensure easy access and safe roads.

After a decade of successful engineering career and accomplishing numerous infrastructure projects, Mr. Ahmed decided to challenge himself and combine the passion for engineering and embrace an entrepreneurial mindset and join the family foodstuff trading business Al Ahli General Trading as a General Manager. His vision was to restructure the company with the main objectives: to revive a family business, increase a company’s value and gain a competitive advantage.

Mr. Ahmed extended his expertise as a Managing Director in Al Ahli Holding Group (AAHG). AAHG is a multi-billion-dollar international conglomerate with a diverse portfolio of business activities ranging from real estate to turnkey construction, engineering and infrastructure, retail and trading, technology and logistics, lifestyle and fitness, entertainment, hospitality, and innovative developments. With around 8,000 employees, Al Ahli holding operates across 25 countries globally.
