King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) is the pinnacle of modern engineering located in the heart of Riyadh, designed to bring to life the Kingdom’s visions of a sustainable financial center used to facilitate investments and enterprises in Saudi Arabia, and the rest of the region.
Consisting of 59 towers with beautiful public spaces, compelling retail, astonishing office layouts, convenient connectivity, automated monorail, and stunning accommodations to live, the masterplan will provide more than 3,000,000 m2 of space, 62,000 parking spaces and accommodation for 12,000 residents.
In 2011 KAFD was the world’s largest project seeking a green building accreditation. BCG was responsible for construction and MEP works for a total of the 9 buildings in zones 1, 2, and 4 of the Master plan. Seven buildings where constructed in zone 2 for mix-use. And BCG also worked in two other buildings in zone 1 and 4, with a total build up area of 535,000 m2.
