In our modern world, where success is driven by connectivity, roadworks and tunnels contribute to local and regional economic success. At BCG, we have identified the importance in bringing cities together and in creating safe and efficient routes that meet the highest civil standards. We offer road construction, from setting out to earthworks and paving. Furthermore, BCG operates an asphalt mixing plant to support our internal road and infrastructure projects and to supply external clients. This enables us to maintain strict quality control over the asphalt mixtures used in our projects.
BCG’s history in paving roads dates back to 1968, when we constructed a 120 km road that connected the Emirate of Sharjah to the Emirate of Ras Al-Khaimah. Along with our deep-routed history in road works, we have constructed some of the earliest tunnelling and underpass projects domestically, a prominent example being the construction of the clock tower roundabout underpass that was completed in 1981 and was one of Dubai’s iconic features at the time of its construction. Furthermore, BCG has executed complex service utility tunnels, such as the one at the H.H Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Sports Complex.
