The Dubai Safari Park is home to more than 2,500 exotic animals from across the globe, spreading over 1,190,000 m² of Dubai’s desert. The Safari Park constructed by BCG complies with the green building requirements of sustainable energy, the park is equipped with solar panels to run the irrigation systems and utilities, any excess power is diverted to Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and used during night time. Aiming to be one of the top ten zoos internationally, it has gained its recognition by providing a sustainably habitable environment with exceptional wildlife quality.
The project scope also includes the construction of the largest drive-through exhibits in the country such as the Safari Village, African Village, Arabian Village, Asian Village, Main Building, and the state-of-the-art Amphitheatre. Furthermore, a misting cooling system is implemented to enhance outdoor ambient temperature for the visitors, this system is the first of its kind in the UAE.
